Itinerary; the following planed day tours are included:
1. Rethymon - the Great- day tour (country and people). Duration: approx. 9 hours.
Tour itinerary: (small bus 20 seater) Melidoni cave, the pottery village Margarites (mountain village), Museum of Eleftherna,
Arkadi-Monastery, village Apostoli with a visit to an olive oil press and a stop at a traditional tavern, St. Antonios gorge and the famous Fragma reservoir Potamon.
2. Rethymnon - our "little" south coast tour . Duration: approx. 8 hours
Tour route: (small bus 20 seater) the mountain village
Spili with the Venetian lion fountain (Kefalovrissi) with the 19 lion heads, drive through the imposing Kourtaliotiko gorge to the Preveli monastery, the palm beach of
Preveli (short hike, good footwear required) afterwards the palm canyon by boat to Damnoni bay for swimming or snorkeling on the beautiful organized beach. You have the opportunity to stop in the traditional beach taverns. Attention, this tour includes a short hike where it goes downhill for about 1 hour. It is not suitable for women in circumstances and people with cardiovascular diseases.
2.Alternative for our guests with cardiovascular problems and those who cannot do the 2nd tour is the trip to
Kournas Lake. Rethymnon - our little tour Lake Kournas / Argyroupolis Duration: 6 ½ hours. We drive south-west into the inland of the coastal town of Georgioupolis. We make the first stop at a small oil press. Here we visit the oil press and make the experience how the olive oil is made. In the coastal village of Georgioupolis, we stop at the famous white chapel of Saint Nikolaos (highlight of the coastal town). Then we go to the waterfalls of Argyroupolis driving down to Lake Kournas. You can go for a swim in the lake and stop off at one of the taverns. Hikers can gofor hiking at Lake Kournas, you have 2 hours at your disposal.
3. Rethymnon - our "big" south coast tour . Duration: 10 hours “In the footsteps of the hippies”.
Tour itinerary: Visit the village of Spili with the lion fountain, further to the south coast town of Agia Galini. The place is built like an amphitheater on a slope with a small harbor. In
Agia Galini you have 2.5 hours of free time for a coffee break and to explore the small village. You continue to the coastal town of
Matala where you have 3 hours at leisure. Here you can go swimming on the beautiful sandy beach and visit the hippie caves. These caves were originally settled by the Minoans (2500 years ago!). The hippies then used it as a place to stay in the 60s and 70s. Bob Dylan and Cat Stevens have already composed songs here about the beauty of Matala.

Our tour "westwards" with Chania-Sightseeing and the famous beaches of
Falassrna . Duration 10 hours (small bus 20 seater) Itinerary: visit to the picturesque old town of Chania, 3 hour stay in Chania town. You can use the time individually to stroll through the old town streets and the leather-square, and market hall. On the way towards Chania town you will become acquainted with Chanias´ history. Then we continue to the Falassarna beaches, which are located on the remoted west coast of Crete. This beach has been awarded one of the
Top 10 beaches in Europe . Here you have 3 hours leisure time. You can swim, go for walks on the beachor go for snorkeling or use the water sports offered by external providers; surfing, stand up board, canoeing, or you can make a break in the cozy traditional beach taverns.
5.- Bathing tour to the nature reserve - The Lagoon Elafonissi . Duration: 12 hours
This tour is a pure bathing tour on the way to the lagoon, a stop to visit the cave church Agia Sophia.
You have the option to book an extension - week after this program.
